Damaged Products

Stained Glass Arrives Damaged in Packaging:

If your stained glass product arrives damaged upon delivery, you need to take pictures of the damage immediately and send those to either KCG's email or contact form. In the event that your product arrives damaged it is imperative that you DO NOT discard any packaging materials. Your package is insured and in order to file a claim with the shipment company they will need to contact you and inspect the product and packing materials. This process can take several business days/weeks. If the shipment company agrees to pay for the damages it will be of no cost to the customer for the repairs; the customer will only be responsible for shipping costs. If you DO NOT want your item repaired but are requesting a full refund; the refund is only given if the damage claim is accepted by the shipping company. If the insurance claim for damages is denied, the customer will be responsible for the cost of repair and shipping and no refund will be offered. Unfortunately myself, as the artist/owner, am not responsible for the handling of the shipping company. 

Stained Glass is damaged from a fall/drop:

In the event that there is an accidental fall or drop of your glass decoration; please send pictures of the damage to KCG’s email. These events are unfortunate but do occur from time to time. If the damage is minimal it may be able to be repaired. Repair cost and shipping will be the customers responsibility. Cost can vary depending on the type of glass, color of glass, and the amount of damage. If there is too much damage and is unrepairable, it is an unfortunate loss. Of course KCG can offer to make your stained glass again to replace your damaged decoration but it will be the customers responsibility to pay for the full cost of the piece. There are NO refunds offered for accidental falls/drops.

Shipping

KCG is not responsible for shipping delays, or lost packages. A tracking number will always be provided to the customer. KCG is not responsible for incorrect spelling of a provided mailing address or an incorrect mailing address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to KCG for an incorrect address, the shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer with no refund. Shipping costs always vary and at any time prices are subject to change.

Custom Artwork

If you are interested in commissioned stained glass artwork that would be a completely custom design, there are a few requirements. First being a minimum price of $100. If you are unsure your commission will fulfill this price, please Contact Carlye with the following: your design idea, pictures, size, and due date (if any). You will be contacted within 24-48 hours. Second requirement is a 50% deposit on the estimated total once all design elements have been agreed upon. Third requirement is for the customer to sign a general contract agreeing that all payments will be made for the commissioned artwork and at the final payment the artwork will be shipped and/or delivered. If your commission requires specific measurements, make sure they are correct. Incorrect measurements is the responsibility of the client.
